How do I stop Outlook from trying to access my GroupWise mailbox?

I just upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Oulook 2003. Previously all was well ..
I had Oultlook for my home email account and GroupWise for my work email both
running, with no problems. Now, after I upgraded, Outlook keeps trying to
access my GroupWise account. I first clciked cancel, because I did not want
this to happen, but Outlook would then shut down. So, I logged onto
GroupWsie, and Outlook read all that email. It also didn't read my personal
emails/address books. I went into Accounts, deleted the GroupWsie account,
and added my personal account info, which I can now see, but it still keeps
accessing the Groupwsie data upon startup. Is there any way I can disacciate
the 2 programs?

I'd like to know the same thing. I had Groupwise installed in Windows XP,
primarily for use by a different user account. I replaced Outlook Express
with Outlook 2003 and had the problem described below. I don't know what
changed, but it stopped. Now, I just installed an upgrade to the Outlook
Connector to MSN (hotmail) and it's back.

I checked in control panel and Groupwise is not the default mail profile -
Outlook is. What gives?

Chris,

I went into the registry and deleted the changed the default value for this
key to nothing:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles.

Now, every time I open up either GroupWise, or Outlook, the system asks me
what Profile I want to use. If I set either one to be the default, the other
doesn't work, so this is my best compromise.
