How do I stop outlook 2003 from addng SPAM to every message in my

I imported all my messages from Express to Outlook. I am trying to use
outlook instead. It adds the word SPAM to the beginning of all my messages
when I open them and then keeps this at the beginning of the subject name
when I go to forward or attach the email to another one.

I have turned off the SPAM filter and it still does this. It even adds SPAM
to messages I am sending.

It is a serious problem

Always best to export from OE to Outlook, btw. Importing in Outlook is
generally a bad idea.

Outlook isn't doing this. Either you have third party antispam software, or
your mail server is doing it. Outlook has no capacity to do it.

If you had exported from OE to OL it would have retained the email modified
dates, which might be important to you, as they will all now have been set
to the import date.

Its a third party addin ie Anti Virus/Spam application that you have
intergrated with OL that is doing this, not OL

I installed outlook and it imported all my email addresses and emails. It did
not change the dates of my emails (Thank god). I am having serious legal
problems with the government over a disabled child.

I don't think it is add on software. This is because it labels old message
that I decide to open and resend (to the government) as SPAM. This is before
they go in or out of my outlook account.

I am working from home so I do not have any exchange server. It is driving
me to distraction. Some emails say (spam) more than once.

I have turned off the spam function in outlook.

There is no Spam function in outlook, there is a Junk Mail option
Where exactly are you seening this Spam function?

Any Spam option you see in outlook has been installed by a third party tool.
What anti virus package are you using?

I had the same problem, turns out that my anti-virus, AVG, has a feature that checks emails and marks some as SPAM. Check your anti-virus!
