When Outlook is running a pop-up keeps appearing "Enter Network Psswork". How
do I stop it? I would appreciate any help you can give me I am operating
under Windows XP and am using Office 2003. Thanks, Alice

The first thing I would make sure of is that when you set up your email
address you entered the correct username and password. The wrong username or
password will cause this to happen.

Also, I have had this happen on computers in our network. I never could
figure out why, but when I delete the email address in Outlook and recreated
it, they sometimes will work fine again. Go figure!

Hope these help!

This also happens when your ISP's servers are down. For instance--my Road
Runner was down all day yesterday and this message came up at every mail
polling. It's fine today. Check your ISP's web site for trouble and try again
later.

I had this going on and I went to tools-options -security-security
zones-zones settings-I went to each zone and clicked default level and then
clicked custom level went the bottom of the list to user authentication and
clicked "automatic logon only in the internet zone" for internet setting. the
other 3 are set at "automatic logon with current user name and password"
that just happens to be where I set them but it seems to be working so far,

I also had this happen to me. It was a symptom of a corrupted registry key
due to installation. I had to call MS tech support and have them talk me
through the steps of how to correct by resetting something in the Windows
registry. This process was too complex and involved for me to recount here
for you. You may want to call them.
