How do I stop being logged off when using the Welcome Screen?

I have the Welcome Screen logon enabled (without fast user switching) as
this suits my situation, but I can't see how to disable the way it
automatically logs me off after a period of inactivity.

Is it possible to disable or control this behaviour?

Right click the Desktop, select Properties, Screen Saver, uncheck On resume, ............
