How do i stop automatic decimals after number ex 5280.?

Excel adds a decimal point, even if the number format I use doesn't include a
decimal point. It just doesn't look right to have an integer number like
5280 displayed as 5280. (with a decimal point). Is this a bug in Excel?

If you had a number format like #,##0. you would see this.

Format>Style>Normal>Modify>Number.

Change to the format of your choice then OK your way out.

Note: Styles are a workbook setting.

If all your Excel numbers are taking on this #,##0. format, I would suggest
you go into Windows Regional and Language Options and check/change your
settings there.
