How do I sort two documents with subentries?

I have two long lists, that include many subentries for each of the lists'
many main entries. How do I sort or merge them into one long list, with the
main entries alphabetized, but keeping each main entry's respective
subentries?
 
You can use Outline view for this if you have used heading styles for the
