How do I show what has been corrected

I am working on a document in Word 2003. As I finish a chapter I send it off
to an editor for correction(s) and keep on typing.
1) How does the editor mark the corrections so that I can see them?
2) Is there a way to automatically merge correction from the corrected
document into the one on which I am currently working?

Hi rogelah,

Word has a 'track changes' feature that your can use to show you what's been changed - but the editor has to turn the change
tracking on before making the changes. See the Tools Menu.

Cheers
