How do I show the DAY in calendar rather than just the date?

On my calendar tab - the top band shows the date: 25 June. I would like it to
show the day aswell, ie. Monday, 25 June. I'm sure this is possible - but
can't work out how to do it.

Any help much appreciated.

Its in the date settings in the control panel, you need to change the long
date format to dddd

Dear Noel

Many thanks for that - do you mean the control panel which you get to
through settings/control panel... and where do I go from there to get to the
long date format. I'm still finding my way round this system - so am not
quite sure where you mean!

Many thanks indeed.

Hennie

Hi Hennie,
In Windows XP go to Settings || Control Panel || Regional and Language
Options || Customize || Select Date Tab || Change the Long Date format so
that it is showing dddd rather than dd so for me I would change it from dd
MMMM yyyy to dddd MMMM yyyy

that's perfect. Thank you very much!
