How do I setup viewing images inline like Outlook Express?

I loved how Outlook Express showed images (GiF, JPEG, etc.) when you opened
the email message. Now that I'm using Outlook, I can't seem to find a way to
make it work the same way. It's frustrating having to open each individual
picture or image when I didn't have to do that before usine Express.
Suggestions? Thanks.

By design, Outlook does not display attached images inline. Outlook is a
business application. OE is targeted to consumers and the needs of the two
groups are different in this area. Exchange Administrators consider inline
display a security issue and don't want it.

Outlook only shows images inline with HTML mail items or RTF mail items with
OLE embedded images. Images in plain text mail items only show as
attachments (that you can open or save).

That makes sense. I guess I'll need to switch back (OE) since that's
important for me for home use. Thanks.

No harm in that. For simple Internet transports with no need for PIM, OE is
often a better choice for users.
