How do I setup outlook for its first use? I have tried to set Outlook up to
read from my hotmail accounts &/or my service providers email inbox but
niether have worked.... With Hotmail it said payment required and with Webace
it wouldnt work (not really sure why)

I really want to set them all up so I can have 1 place to check emails etc
and also I like working within outlook as I do so at work.

I am happy to set up a new email account with one service provider,
providing I will be able to read/send etc emails from Outlook.

Any help would be appreciated :)

For Webace I have no idea. Have you contacted them to see what they
have to say? Is Webace an ISP? If so then they should have
information on their site on how to set up email software for use with
their service.

For Hotmail...As it told you. You have to have a paid for hotmail
account to use an email program like outlook with it. The free
hotmail accounts can not be accessed using an email client.

Outlook or Outlook Express- a diff program not covered here--cannot be used
with Hotmail or any other free web acct. Use your browser and Hotmail's tools
instead.

You'll need to PAY to get a Hotmail account that can be accessed using
an e-mail client; otherwise, you are stuck using the
webmail-for-dummies interface (and their new Live beta interface is
just a pretty face atop the same ol' service).

For a timeline on MSN/Hotmail, read http://snipurl.com/qkfx. It is
unlikely you have a legacy account at MSN or Hotmail to let you
continue having POP3/SMTP access.

You can still configure Outlook Express to read?download your message to your
local comptuer with an unpaid hotmail account.

No, you cannot except for legacy accounts which are being phased out. Any
new Hotmail sub requires the premium (paid) edition to download to Outlook
or Outlook Express.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without

After furious head scratching, Joshua asked:
