Note, newsgroups are groups. The work on the idea of sharing
information, not just obtaining it. That sharing is what makes it work. If
answers were only e-mails the rest of the world would not share in the
knowledge and the system would not work nearly as well.
As a user you are expect to be willing to return and check for answers
to your questions. Those who are not willing to work in the system are much
less likely to find their answers.
