I am trying to set up an email account for both my husband and myself for our
home office. We each have two different e-mail addresses and have both
america online and hotmail.

Question: How do i begin to do all of this? I am sooooo confused that i've
tried multiple things, and nothing is working. Any help is greatly
appreciated for this old lady.

Regards,
Anna

First state what version of Outlook you're using and whether or not you use
separate Windows usernames.

State what you've tried already and someone will be able to give you
additional guidance.

AOL supports IMAP accounts . You can find more information at AOL help sites
and forums.
Try here

Outlook does not support Hotmail natively. To view Hotmail in Outlook you
need to use a paid service that uses the Outlook Connector. Refer here:

For two separate accounts like this I'd use separate Windows profiles or
Outlook profiles. Deal with that after you get your own email settings
configured.

HI Brian,
I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003. Yes, both my husband and I have
seperate Window User Names (Myself being the Administrator?)

I follow the wizard to the "t", however, it keeps on telling me that I
need to have outlook logged on in order to continue.
I have added my name for the mail box. That didn't work.
I have entered the hotmail account, as well as the aol account. Those
didn't work.
When it asks to check name, (Where I have added my name), it says it's
supposed to be underlined, but it's not.
I appreciate your help.

Kind Regards,
Anna

But not using the Administrator account, I hope.

What wizard?

Adding a Hotmail account goes like this:
Tools>E-mail Accounts>Add a new e-mail account>Next. Select HTTP, click
Next. Enter your name, your Hotmail address, your Passport as User Name,
and your Hotmail password. Click Next, then Finish.

For adding an AOL account, see if this helps:
