how do i set up a scanner with MS access?

i have got an MS Access Application, in which we have to use scanner. I dont
know how to attach or link the scanner to MS Access. Is there any one who can
help please?

While it isn't free, I use a third party control called DBPix to scan
directly into a file controlled by Access:

Previous to that, there was a free set of ActiveX controls that came with
either Windows or Office that were written by Kodak. I don't recall their
names right now.
