how do I set up a list of databases in Access?

No idea what you are asking. Please post a complete question with examples.
Use that big white space provided, not just the Subject field.

Please explain your question. An Access .mdb file IS database; you
can (if you wish) create a Table in that database, with a text field,
wherein each record contains the name of a database.

Feel free to use the big white text area, not just the subject line.

I have several Access databases and I want to be able to open a database and
choose one of the many from a dropdown list like you can in SQL.
