How do I set up a database for an auto repair shop?

As a result of having seen my personal database for my home, a companion of
mine has asked me to set up one for his autorepair business. My experience
can't take me quite that far. If anyone has a template I can use for this
project, or can give me guidance to complete this project, please reach me at

You might look at the "Service Call Management" database that the New
Database Wizard can set up for you. It might not do all that your
friend needs, but it contains a lot of useful stuff. I'd say it's
definitely worth looking at and perhaps using as a basis for whatever
you intend to do for him. (And the price is right!)
