How do I set the To: box to see all Contacts and Contact Subfolder

I have recently installed Office XP on my computer, but I cannot see the
Contact subfolders that I have imported in when trying to send an email.
Outlook also acts like the Contact subfolders do not exist and is searching
for email addresses and deleting people from Distribution lists.
 
Have you enabled these subfolders as email address book in their properties?
