How do I set the order of calculation of Data Tables in Excel?

I have created an Excel worksheet (in Excel 2000) that includes two tables
created using Data/Table. They seem to conflict with each other: if I
manually change the data in the input cell used by one of the Data/Tables,
the table concerned produces different results whereas it should, in fact, be
unaffected by the manual change.

I think that the problem may relate to the order in which the Calculate
function (F9) refreshes the tables. If this is so, I would need to control
that order (ie, calculating table 2 before table 1, rather than table 1
before table 2). However, I do not know how to do this.
