How do I set the default powerpoint slide show to default to 16:10 screen
ratio?

How do I set the default powerpoint slide show to default to 16:10 screen
ratio?

There's no default ratio; PowerPoint displays presentations at whatever ratio
the current File, Page Setup, Slide Size is set for. You'd need to change that
(though changing an existing show's page setup size will usually cause unwanted
distortions)
