How do I set the default chart options in Powerpoint?

Hi -
I've setup a master in PowerPoint - fonts, colors, etc. - but every time I
try to insert a chart object (Insert > Chart...) I get a chart with font
sizes and formatting that has nothing to do with my master. I'm not talking
about the default chart type, I'm talking about the options of the chart.
Any help is appreciated.
