You likely have any of a variety of spyware, hoistware or whatever the term
is to describe these unscrupulous apps/sites that want to take control of
your system for you.

First download, install, update and run free version of Ad-Aware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ . Let is find and then remove
the spyware it finds. When finished Reboot your system. Download and install
Spyware Blaster, run the update and then select All to protect your system
from future spyware. Periodically check for updates.

Once you've stripped out the offending spyware and protected your system go
to Internet Options->General Tab and set msn.com as your homepage again.

With Internet Explorer open, go to tools and click on
Internet Options. There under the General Tab, you will
see a box called HOME PAGE,.....go to the address of the
home page you want to use,and click on 'use current"

Hope this helps.

Or follow Nutmeg's instructions up to "use current" but type in the exactly
correct address of page if known but not currently up.
