How do I set my alarm to play mp3 files instead of that "ding" so.

So, I guess wanting Outlook to play a .wmv is out of the question. Is there a
registry setting that would allow other file formats?

Anything you can define in Windows Control Panel's Sound applet can be used.
If you can't use it there, no adjustment is possible.
