How do I set an audible alarm to an office based spreadsheet ?

I am setting up a birthday list on the computer and i wish to be reminded
audibly when the birthdays are up coming. Does anyone have an idea how to
activate an alarm to this as i am dire when it comes to remembering dates ?
 
Use Outlook.
