How do I set a default directory when I open WORD?

In the last version of word, I set it, so that when I opened WORD and the
first time hit "open file" - I would be in one directory - where all my
relevant files/information is contained. Does anyone know how to set that?

If in Word 2007, go to Word Options, the Save, the you'll see default file -
open browe and select
