How do I send Phone Messages in Outlook?

Our company uses Outlook 2000. Our department has decided we would like to
start using Outlook to send the typical "While You Were Out" telephone
messages rather than use handwritten ones (like it is possible to do in
Novell GroupWise). However, we don't find that as one of the options. Does
anyone have any "free" solution? We are aware there is at least one software
add-in that can be purchased, but budget constraints won't allow that.

is this thing legit? as in open source or Mircosoft release?

i'd like to use it... it's nice... just don't want to do something out of
license.

THanks

Darryl,

Except for "You may find this of help." nothing else appears in your post.
Please try again!

Sonny,

I just wrote Darryl the same message. In his reply, nothing shows except
"You may find this will help." If there was a URL or link to something it
didn't appear. Please forward me whatever he sent. If you will, also cc it to
"(e-mail address removed)"

Thanks
