I am using MS Outlook 2003, and am having trouble with the send/receive
options working correctly. I have gone into Tools/Options/Mail Setup and
everything looks correct. The "send immediately when connected" option is
checked. In the "Send/Receive Group" options the settings for All Accounts
group has the 3 boxes checked and set for every 1 min. Also the 2 boxes
under "When Outlook is Offline" are checked as well and set for 1 min.
Looking at the properties for the All Accounts group shows that the inbox and
outbox are checked, as they should be, and therefore should be included in
the previous settings.
Problem is, is that when I log into Outlook, it doesn't automatically
send/receive emails.......I have to click the send/receive button. Also when
I create a new email message and hit send, it goes into the outbox and just
sits until I click the send/receive button. The send/receive options I have
set, seem to be ignored. Any ideas about how to solve the problem?
As a side note, all other users on the same network, do not have this problem.
