How do I send documents via e-mail?

In the Home Office button w/drop downs I can go alot of places like fax and
e-mail. My info for e-mailing is not highlighted so I can't use it. How do I
correct this? I did what Word says to do when I did f1 but still not able to
use it. I have Outlook Express not Outlook. I am using M.S.Word 2007

Make sure Outlook Express is selected as the default email
application in Windows. Then see Method 2 in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=918792 "The 'E-mail' command
is missing or is unavailable in Excel 2007, in PowerPoint 2007,
or in Word 2007".
