How do I send an auto response that I am out of the office?

I am not on a network. Can I send an auto response through Outlook 2003
notifying email senders that I am out of the office?
 
You'd need to use the Rules And Alerts dialog (Tools, Rules and Alerts) and
leave Outlook running while you're gone.
