way I can see when a receient opened my message without requesting a relpy
(in groupwise there was a button marked "properties" for this)

You might want to ask this in the Outlook group. You have stumbled on the
PowerPoint group.

Hi,

By the way:

In Outlook 2003, go to

Tools| Options| Preferences Tab| click the Tracking Options Button and set
the "For all messages I send, request Read Receipt".

Please tell us your PowerPoint version,
whether you are using vba,
whether your dog has fleas, or
anything else relevant.

Oh c'mon Glen. You can come up with more and better ways of annoying email
recipients than this!

This just makes 'em click the "Buzz off" button when it asks if it's ok to send
receipt confirmation.

How about HTML email instead?

Or better yet, no email message body at all ... attach a Word file instead.
Maybe something like "Me too!" as the text but toss in a gratuitous pic or two
to beef it up.

A veritable feast of annoyances!
