How do I see the date and time a file was last modified?

In 2002 I used to be able hover over a file name and see the date and time
the document was last modified on.

In Word 2003 I cannot do this.

Any ideas how I can, apart from checking the properties?

Thanks

I peroformed a FileOpen in Word 2003. I hovered over a Word document and a
dialog appeared displaying: Type, Author, Title, Date Modified & Size.

If you use Details view in File Open, Modified is one of the default columns
(and can be added if it is not displayed).

Thanks Mike and Suzanne for your replies, I will try to reinstall the
programe, if not I will have to use the details option in the File Open
display.

Thanks again

Nikki

The difference in properties displayed may depend on your version of Word or
your version of Windows, but I doubt seriously that reinstalling either will
change anything.
