How Do I Schedule a File Copy?

Hello--

We have Symantec Live State Recovery that creates images in real-time
(snapshots) of our servers for disaster recovery.

We would like to store these images in multiple locations, however, Symantec
says that once the Live State agent "locks" the hard drive, you cannot create
another job (to choose a different destination for the images) on the same
server.

Symantec said they do have clients that have scheduled tasks that copy files
to new folders, but they did not have any information on how to do this.

Since the image files are rather large and we don't want to use the network
bandwidth to move them during production hours, we would like to schedule a
file copy for after hours.

Does anyone know how to do this? Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

sd

Before resolving your problem, let's find out if Live Recovery
lets you do it. Try copying the file manually. Can you do it? If
yes, then report the following:
- The current name and location of the file.
- The destination where you want to copy it to.

Yes, it's a simple file copy over our WAN to an external hard drive attached
to a Pc running W XP Pro. We just don't want to do the move during production
hours because they are large files and would take up network bandwidth.
