i wnt to save it on pdf form - is that the way to secure the presentation
from copying and changes?

If you have PowerPoint 2002/2003 use can use one of two password protect
options. Go to: Tools > Options, then click the Security tab. Set your
Password to Open or Password to Modify.

If you have an older version of PPT, try Show within a Show:

Create and save your presentation as a PPS file.
Open a new presentation, click on Insert, Object, Create From File and
select the PPS file you just created. Do not check the link or icon box.
Resize your embedded PPS (powerpoint show) to cover the whole screen.
Use the custom animations setting to make it run automatically, etc. However
you want it to appear.
Make sure your Multimedia setting is set to SHOW.
Save your new file as PPS. You may have to experiment a little to get the
exact results you want.

Nothing is totally secure. Most security can be broken in one way or another.

Besides, if you let me put it on my screen, I can capture at least a picture of
the information and use it in some way.

But converting your presentation to PDF is a pretty good way to secure it
assuming you password protect it against copying/printing.

If you already have Acrobat, give it a try. If you don't have it already, you
should understand that it doesn' support animation and that many of the
interactive features of your presentation may disappear and need to be
re-created in Acrobat.
