Microsoft XP Prof. I have several documents that I need to put the same 3
items on most & 1 on all. I wanted to put them on clipboard then go from doc.
to doc. pasting away. Hence saving more time for? MORE WORK:( When I close
out of one doc., the clipboard closes. When I go to the next doc. my
clipboard is empty! I'm a baby on computers & will never have time to play.
Can you help? Also can you direct me to the correct discussion group that I
should address? Thanks

This is a Microsoft ACCESS newsgroup. This question does not appear to deal
with a MS Access database.

Well, this isn't the right group: this newsgroup is for the database
program Microsoft Access.

But this is NOT how the clipboard is designed to be used. The
clipboard is just that - a temporary, volatile storage place designed
for moving data from one place to another. You're trying to use it
like a filing cabinet.

If you are using Word Documents, I would suggest that you scroll down
the list of subject areas (on the webpage I believe the list is at the
lower left) and find one for Word. Someone can probably suggest a good
way to do this which probably will NOT involve either the clipboard or
cutting and pasting (perhaps a .DOT template file containing the
information you're duplicating will be the solution).
