I have a new comercial site written with FrontPage. I want to create a banner
for several directories I'm listed in. They want the URL of my banner. I
can't seem to get it right. Where do I create the banner (a blank web page,
word document, what?) and how do I save it and how do I assign it a URL? my
site is www.heritagewatches.com . Thanks for any help.

You create the banner image in a image application, then you import it into your web, then you
publish it to the live/remote server, then you give the other site the full URL to the image, better
yet, see if you can send them the image with the link they need to use for linking to your site.

it depends on what kind of banner they want. if it's just an image, you'd
create it in your image editing program, import it into your local web and
publish it up to the server, resulting in a URL like;
www.heritagewatches.com/images/my-new-banner.gif or whatever it would
actually be.

Your banner is Banner%20and%20Logo%20800pix.jpg. First you need to take the
spaces out of the banner name (indicated by the %20), then resize the image
to say 200X47 pixels. Simply send this file to whoever wants it and they can
use that image and hyperlink it to http://www.heritagewatches.com.
