How do I save an open e-mail which contains a bmp

Saving it how? What version of Outlook? Always provide details of the
problem and a comprehensive description of the symptoms.
 
When the e-mail is open, I save it with "Save as", then select the file
location and click save.
The e-mail is saved in html format.
When I reopen the same e-mail from the saved location, it will only come up
with
the regular text in that e-mail, but no pictures in the body of the e-mail.
My outlook is 2003 !

That works, why is it like that ? is msg format the default to use for
saving e-mails like that ?
