How do i save a picture sent to me in powerpoint as my background

I recieved an email with a power point presentation. I would like to save
one of the pictures as my background, as well as print out the pictures. But
I cannot figure out how to do that. I am not familiar with powerpoint at
all. I saved it in my pictures, but I still can't figure out how to do
anything with it.
 
Open the file in PPT and do File|Save As. In the "save as type" drop down box
at the bottom of the Save As dialog box, choose an image type -- usually JPG
or PNG is a good choice.
