I'm trying to save a Word document on PC as an MCW so I can read it on my
Mac. At the moment when I go to save I'm not getting the option of saving it
as an MCW. Any ideas why?

Many thanks,

Tom :)

The old .mcw text converter is not included in Word 2003 for
security reasons. You could install the .mcw text converter from
Word 2002 or earlier into your "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\TextConv" folder (the converter filename
is MACWRD32.CNV), but before you decide to do this, see
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=837011 "You receive a security
warning message when you open or when you save a document in Word
2003". You really don't need to save as an .mcw file if you have
MacWord 98 or later, because WinWord 97 to 2003 and MacWord 98 to
2004 share the same basic file format.
