How do I run Outlook 2007 in the background?

Hi, I'd like to be able to close the Outlook 2007 window but still have it
running in the background so that I get desktop email noticications. Is this
possible, and if so, how? Thanks.

Right click the Outlook icon in the systray and check 'Hide when minimized'
and then, well, minimize Outlook.
