how do i rid my doc of "dotted underlines" that wont allow printi.

I have "dotted underlines" throughout half my text. I cant rid them and
everything that is "underlined" does not appear in print. help

The dotted underlines indicate that the text in question is formatted as
hidden. Format > font > uncheck the 'hidden' attribute.
