How do I reverse the order of pages?

When I converted my Word document to PDF file, the order of pages was
reversed. In other words, page 243 was shown to be the first page - and page
1 was shown to be the last page.

I am proofreading and it is more diificult doing it backwards.

Re-do the Word to PDF process. But before doing it, be sure to
thoroughly explore the Print dialog and uncheck "print in reverse order."

By the way, proofreading is actually better done going backwards, as you
catch errors more easily when the words and order are unfamiliar. It's a
common tip.

If you are talking about printed pages, then you should be able to
adjust which page gets printed first.
From your Tools menu, select Options, select the Print Tab. Place a
checkmark in "Reverse print order"
Then you will need to print to Acrobat again to have your PDF file page
numbered correctly.

I do not know of an easy method of actually reversing the pages inside
of Acrobat.
