How do I return to a PPT format from PPS?

How do I revert back to a PPT format from a PPS file format in PowerPoint?
 
Lou,
Open your pps like you would a normal file. Choose file - save as - in the
save as list choose (*.PPT) if necessary - click save.
Or as an alternative rename your file in Windows explorer from .pps to .ppt.
 
Right click the file, and select rename and change the extension from .PPS
to .PPT
