Try this:
Select Start menu > Control Panel > Mouse. In the Mouse Properties dialog
box, click the Pointers tab. Check what is selected below Scheme – does it
contain “…(large)…â€? If yes, try selecting “Windows Default (system scheme)â€
and click OK.

It was blank. tried selecting the default, and seemed to work, but when I
log into my computer, the PSWD screen still has this large curser. Is there a
resolution?
We ordinarily have complaints about the cursor becoming minute, and the fix
for that is to switch to 500% Zoom and back. You might try that for reducing
your oversized cursor.
