How do I resetup a user's Outlook account on their desktop compute

This is with Outlook/Office 2003
Frequently, the .pst file gets munged in some sort of way so it doesn't let
us remove extra mailboxes on the users outlook. It seems to be necessary to
resetup their Outlook complete to get rid of these ghost accounts. I have not
been able to figure out how to do this without removing their account from
their desktop computer and remaking it, which is a hassle because then you
need to reduplicate their settings, links, etc. I do not want to remake
their exchange server account, I just want to remake their local Outlook. How
do I do it without remaking the whole account?

Thanks

I've been working in an Exchange environment for 10 years now and have rarely
had to delete and recreate a user's Outlook account.

What precisely is happening here? What do you mean by extra mailboxes?

I mean when you are in Outlook and go to Tools->Email Accounts->Change->More
Settings
->Advanced-> and add additional mailboxes

Sometimes when I go to removethese additional mailboxes they don't detach
from the outlook (even though the Remove command appears to work).

You are lucky you've never had this problem.
