How do i remove the read only from a cd-rw?

When i save a doc to cd-rw drive eveything is fine, but when i open that doc
up on the cd and try to save it as something else it say this doc is read
only. what can i do to solve this problem.

To avoid document corruption, do not *ever* work directly from Word on
any kind of removable media. That includes floppies, CD-RW, Zip disks,
flash drives, etc. Copy the document to the hard drive, work on it
there, close it, and copy it back to the CD.

When you read the number of sob stories that get posted here, you'll
be glad you kept your work safe.
 
Files on a CD (any type) are always read-only. Copy the needed file to your
HD, then, in Windows Explorer, right-click, choose Properties, and remove
the Read Only attribute.
