How do I remove the PDFMaker toolbar?

The PDFMaker toolbar appears everytime I start Word. I can choose to not show
it, or delete it completely, but every time I start Word, there it is, back
again!

How can I remove it so that it does not keep coming back?

Given that if you remove it, you cannot use the extended functions of
Acrobat from Word, you can do so by removing the add-in that starts it,
however if you prefer to control it see
