how do i remove the author name permanently?

whenever i uses the microsoft words or excel, i could see the author name.
How can i remove it permanently?

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the

This should work. May vary depending on the version.

Change the author name for new documents
The author name is used for such features as file properties, tracked
changes, and comments.
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the User Information tab.
In the Name box, type a name.
The name you type appears in the Author box on the Summary tab (File menu,
Properties command) each time you create a new file.
