From when you paste in something from a HTML page?

Select the cells in Excel, click the Eraser's drop down list in Editing and
choose Clear all formatting. Default keys: Alt+H + E + F.

this does not concern any HTML page. I'm just asking how to delte a table
format once I have created one. What you say to do only clears the table
"style" from my worksheet, but it does not remove the table itself. In other
words, there are still drop-down buttons on the row headings. Other than
that, it seems to clear most of the table features. Thx.

Right-click anywhere in the table/list and List>Convert to Range

Thank you Gord. That is exactly what I needed.
