How do I remove (not unload) a user installed Excel add-in ?

Even though unloaded the add-in shows up in the inactive list. I want to
remove it from that list.
 
You have to delete the actual file itself, then redisplay the add-in
list. You will be prompted whether to remove the add-in from the list.
Choose Yes to remove it.
