How do I remove formatting after conversion from table to text ?

When I copy some text from the web, and paste it into Word, it appears in a
table format. When I convert the table to text, in Word, the text retains
hidden formatting. When I press 'Show/Hide', the formatting appears like
'bullets' at the beginning of every line. How do I remove this formatting
(the 'bullets') ?

I have Windows ME, and I am using Office 2000.

You'll stand a much better chance of getting an answer to your question if
you ask it in a newsgroup related to Word.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.

You might try pasting it into Notepad and making sure Notepad is in text
mode than from there going to Word.

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
your problem there.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.
