How do I remove action buttons from a PowerPoint presentation?

During one of my PowerPoint presentations I cannot go to the next slide
unless I click on action buttons on the lower left of the screen. How can I
remove these action buttons?

If the presentation isn't protected you need to do a couple of things:

Go to Slide Show > Slide Transition and check Advance Slide on Mouse click
On each slide that has the button click on the button while in Normal View,
the hit your delete button.
