Hi,
I run WinXP Pro SP2.
In Windows Task Manager> Processes> Image Name, there are, in my case,
39 processes immediately after startup.
Of these there are 11 processes under my user name.
Will you please tell me how to relate the 'image name' in Windows Task
Manager, to the actual programs I have installed?
For example there is an image name called TeaTimer.exe. I have no idea
from which of the installed programs this comes.
My ultimate objective is to prevent unnecessary programs from starting
up without my knowledge.
I do have a program called Startup Control Panel running, which tells me
which programs run at startup time. But I have a suspicion that some
programs are cleverly bypassing it.
Your advice would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Royston Tin.
